The Graston Technique® is a manual therapy that uses stainless steel instruments to treat soft tissue conditions. Designed to help identify restricted areas, the technique aids in breaking up scar tissue, reducing fascial restrictions, and stretching connective tissue to create an optimal healing environment.

Dr. Ian is a Chiropractor certified in Kinesio-Taping, and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. He uses a variety of soft tissue techniques and instrumented assisted soft tissue tools in his treatments.
Dr. Carissa believes that a balanced approach to healthcare, alongside intentional listening and deliberate, hands-on therapy, can lead to powerful healing. She has had training in a variety of techniques including Thompson, Activator, Graston and muscle release.
April graduated from Makami College with 3000 hours. She is very passionate about helping people on their healing journey. Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial cupping and pregnancy massage are some of her comfort levels. She specializes in but is not limited to deep tissue technique.
Zac is a legally blind Registered Massage Therapist. He graduated in 2019 from Makami College. He is joined by his guide dog Pepper in the treatment room. Zac specializes in Sports Massage, Deep tissue, MVA, and Rapid NFR. Zac has been playing hockey since he was a kid and has been playing blind hockey for the last 8 years with the Edmonton Seehawks. He also snowboards in the winter and tandem bikes in the summer.
Ashton graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2023 with her 2200hr Massage Therapy diploma. Ashton is passionate about understanding her client’s needs and helping them work towards their goals. Her current practice includes Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Myofascial, and Trigger point therapies as well as Dynamic cupping; she is looking forward to adding new modalities in the near future to better enhance her treatments for her clients. When she is not in the clinic, you can usually find her spending time with her husband and their daughters and is usually running them to and from their extracurricular activities.
Tristan graduated from Wholistic Health Training in 2023 with a 2200hr Massage Therapy diploma. Tristan has always had a passion for helping others which has led to a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Tristan uses a variety of techniques in her treatments that include Kinetic cupping, IASTM, and trigger point therapy along with Therapeutic, Deep tissue, orthopaedic, Pre/Postnatal, & lymphatic. When Tristan is not at the clinic you can find her at the barn riding (barrel racing), treating horses, or hanging out with family
Nissa graduated from Makami College in the spring of 2024. Focusing on deep tissue, Myofascial cupping, trigger point release, and relaxation massage. During her time at college, she discovered her deep fascination with the inner workings of the human body. This new-found knowledge ignited a desire within her to facilitate healing and wellness in others. Currently Nissa dedicates her professional life to her massage practice. With her expert understanding of the human body and its mechanics, she strives to guide individuals back to a state of optimal health. As a certified massage therapist, she utilizes her skills and intuition to address various ailments, rejuvenate tired muscles, and promote a balanced lifestyle. Nissa takes pride in every client she helps along their journey to well-being.
With previous experience managing chiropractic, massage and psychology clinics, Candice brings with her an abundance of knowledge. As well, she has her B.Ed and taught for a number of years so she is exceptional at keeping the office organized and running smoothly. When she is not at the office Candice enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer, and cheering on her daughter at volleyball.
With a background spanning over 16 years as a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, coupled with education in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Angela brings a diverse skill set and a passion for holistic wellness to her current role as an administrative assistant at Flex. Outside of work Angela finds joy in spending quality time with her family, exploring the beauty of nature, and embarking on adventures through travel. She also can often be often be found immersed in the pages of a compelling book.
Morgan joined the Flex team in 2023, bringing with her quality costumer service skills and a joy for conversing with patients. She enjoys seeing the positive impacts that chiropractic care has on our patients and always looks forward to building connections with them as well. Outside the clinic, Morgan enjoys taking and teaching dance lessons, watching hockey, and spending time with her friends and family.
